Bring customer feedback, product decisions, and delivery work together in Shorter Loop. Product teams use it to see what the evidence actually says, test assumptions, prioritize opportunities, and link strategy to roadmaps and outcomes. Decisions stay recorded with the reason they were made, so the team can revisit them months later.
Building strategy with Sage
Connect customer evidence, product strategy, prioritization, roadmaps, and delivery in one product management system.
Sage
Sage answers questions from your product documents, feedback, strategy items and connected data sources. Each answer comes with a thinking process you can open and a Supporting evidence list, and Sage can draft personas, opportunities and solutions for an editor to review.
Build objective-driven roadmaps that connect organizational goals, opportunities, solutions, releases, and delivery work while keeping strategic intent visible across stakeholders.
Open the Evidence tab on an objective, opportunity or solution to see its claims, whether each one is backed, and the feedback, documents, analytics and related work behind them. Use Check claims to run the check on an item that has not been checked yet.
Sage answers from the documents, feedback and strategy items in your own product, and shows the steps and sources behind each answer. Ask what evidence supports an objective and you get the evidence, not a paragraph of plausible text. What it will not do matters just as much. It does not score your bets or rank them by how much evidence sits behind them, and where it cannot verify a point the answer says so. Drafting follows the same rule: when Sage drafts opportunities or solution ideas from weak evidence, it says so, and any claim without enough support stays marked Untested, so the gaps stay visible instead of being quietly filled. That is the difference between an assistant working from your product and a general chatbot working from everything it has ever read.
To try it, open Strategy > Product vision and write the vision statement and target groups. Add an objective underneath it with the key results that would show it was met. Generate or add opportunities under that objective, and solutions under those. Then ask Sage "what evidence supports this objective?" and read the Supporting evidence list it returns: the documents, feedback and items the answer rests on, with anything it could not verify called out.
If you meant strategy for an AI product, that is a different question. Shorter Loop does not help you design a model or pick an architecture. What it does cover is the same as any other product: the customer problem, the claims your bet rests on, and whether the evidence supports them, which matters more when the thing you are building behaves probabilistically.

Kinshuk Kale
Founder, Product & Strategy
Engineer, architect, coach, and product leader. Started Shorter Loop after seeing the same failure repeat from different seats: decisions outliving the evidence they were built on.
Dinesh Rawat
Co-founder, Engineering and Technology
Dinesh started building software at the age of 13 and hasn't stopped since. He joined Kinshuk as a co-founder because he genuinely loves building technology that helps people do things they couldn't do before. That belief has kept him working on Shorter Loop through several generations of the product, and AI has opened up an entirely new set of possibilities. He knows virtually every part of the system, from its application architecture to the infrastructure underneath it, and has led the technical evolution of the product as it grew from its original form into what it is today.
Devendra Nadh
Head of GTM
Devendra leads customer discovery, sales, partnerships, marketing, and account management at Shorter Loop. He starts with the customer’s problem, not a script. If the pitch doesn’t fit what the buyer is actually trying to do, he throws out the pitch. He treats sales as a process of listening, learning, and building relationships around problems worth solving .He has little interest in theater. The goal is not to sound impressive. The goal is to make sure the customer can do something they couldn’t do before — and that Shorter Loop can stand behind the claim.
Deepika Patial
Founding Engineer
Deepika is a full-stack engineer who works across Shorter Loop, taking product ideas from early discussions through implementation and into production. Deepika is a full-stack engineer who cares a lot about making software simpler. She has little patience for unnecessary complexity, including when Kinshuk or Dinesh are the ones proposing it. She believes good software should be simple, focused, and do what it promises without making the user work for it. Her love of art shows up in the care she brings to the details, but she will choose usefulness over decoration every time.
Anushka Litoria
Founding Marketing Manager
Anushka is the guardian of Shorter Loop’s messaging, positioning, and voice. She believes companies should write for people, not search engines or AI bots, and that useful communication requires having an opinion rather than repeating what everyone else already says. Everything we publish on this website goes through her, including fact-checking the claims we make. She pushes us to say what we actually mean, and to make sure we can stand behind it.
Krishna Vamshi
Business Development Representative
Krishna is Shorter Loop’s newest teammate and our Business Development Representative. He researches prospects, markets, and product organizations to understand who might genuinely have a problem Shorter Loop can help solve. He joined because he would rather understand a prospect before contacting them than work from a cold script. For Krishna, good outbound starts with doing the homework.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is an AI product strategist?
People search for this phrase when they want help making sense of product evidence. The strategy itself stays with your team. In Shorter Loop, Sage is an assistant that answers questions from your product documents, feedback, strategy items and connected data sources, showing its thinking process and a Supporting evidence list with each answer. It can also draft a persona, opportunity or solution, which an Editor, Product admin or Subscription admin reviews before adding it to the product.
How can AI help build a product strategy?
AI can help product teams synthesize customer feedback, organize product knowledge, identify recurring problems, connect opportunities to objectives, and surface relationships across strategy and delivery work. It can also support prioritization, assumption mapping, experimentation, and product specifications. The strongest results come when AI works from the organization’s own evidence and context rather than relying only on general model knowledge.
What makes Shorter Loop different from a generic AI copilot?
A general-purpose copilot answers from whatever it was trained on. Sage answers from your own product: its documents, feedback, strategy items and connected data sources, and only that product. Under each answer you can open Sage thinking process to see the steps it took and Supporting evidence to see what the answer rests on, and when Sage cannot verify a point, the answer says so.
Can Shorter Loop connect customer feedback to product decisions?
Yes. Shorter Loop lets teams collect and organize feedback, group recurring themes, and connect evidence to opportunities, assumptions, decisions, and product work. This helps teams preserve the customer context behind a product bet and understand how feedback influences strategy, prioritization, roadmaps, and delivery rather than leaving research isolated in separate tools.
Can teams use Shorter Loop to manage product roadmaps?
Yes. Roadmap boards show objective-driven work with time-box columns and theme rows carrying objective lanes, and a level filter for All, Strategy or Build. Teams connect opportunities and solutions to roadmap work, use the RICE Score shown on solutions in Strategy Builder, and sync delivery items with Jira, GitHub and Azure DevOps.
How does Shorter Loop support product prioritization?
Backlog Prioritization is a value-versus-effort chart of your epics and features. Drag an item onto the chart and where you drop it sets its value and its effort; the score is value divided by effort. Drag the cut lines to mark areas such as do now and do later. RICE Score is separate and shows on solutions in Strategy Builder, and each opportunity has an Opportunity score that the team sets by choosing Spread, Intensity and Value. The team sets all of these; the Evidence tab on an item shows what it rests on next to them.
Does Shorter Loop support product experiments and assumptions?
Yes. Shorter Loop reads the claims in your strategy items and documents and checks each one against the product's evidence, so a claim shows as Backed, Evidence disagrees, or Untested. On a claim you can Acknowledge it or choose Not now, and on each linked piece of evidence Confirm or Reject it. Experiments sit alongside objectives, opportunities and solutions in Product Strategy, so what you learn links back to the item it tested.
Is there a free trial available?
Shorter Loop offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. It is a web-based product with one plan, $500 per product per month billed annually or $600 monthly, with unlimited users and no per-seat charge (https://shorterloop.com/pricing). Org Roadmap, the view across all your products, is included in the same plan. Teams can use the trial to explore connected discovery, strategy, roadmapping, feedback, and Sage.
