Continuous Discovery Tool for Product Teams

A continuous discovery tool for product teams at a scale-up: somewhere customer evidence, the claims it supports and the decisions built on it stay connected. Shorter Loop does not recruit participants, build surveys or record sessions; it is where what you learn from them is kept and used.

Product team reviewing connected customer research insights and product decisions on a collaborative workspace

From customer research to roadmap

Group incoming feedback into clusters, turn a cluster into an opportunity, score and pick a solution, and keep the customer quotes that justified it attached when the work reaches the backlog.

Docs

Upload interview notes and research files with Upload files, or bring them in from Google Drive or a web address. Shorter Loop finds the claims and evidence in each document, and the Insights panel lists them with the evidence for and against.

Feedback portal

Connect Intercom, Zendesk or HubSpot and conversations arrive as feedback, or upload a CSV. On the Clusters page, Generate Clusters groups related items, and Identify more opportunities suggests opportunities you can save to Product Strategy.

Strategy Builder

Treat customer opportunities as connected product objects. Work through them in Strategy Builder, compare evidence, weigh business value, and keep the reasoning behind each possible solution.

Evidence and claims

Every strategy item carries an Evidence tab listing the claims it rests on, each showing a state: Backed, Evidence disagrees, or Untested. Claims without enough evidence stay Untested, so you can see at a glance which ones still need a test.

Experiments

Plan an experiment under the solution it tests: set the sample size and confidence in Calculator and add the Variants. Running experiments in Shorter Loop is planned, so run the test with your own tools; results are not attached to claims automatically.

Sage

Ask Sage what customers have said about a problem. It answers from your product's documents, feedback and strategy items, shows its thinking process and the supporting evidence under each answer, and can draft personas, opportunities and solutions for you to add.

How It Works

From Research to Roadmap, One Step at a Time

Upload what you already have. Interview notes and research documents go into Docs, where their claims are read and checked against the rest of your evidence. Customer messages arrive in the Feedback portal from Intercom, Zendesk, HubSpot and the rest, and you group related items into clusters. When a cluster describes a real problem, turn it into an opportunity. That opportunity sits in Product Strategy with an Evidence tab showing which of its claims are backed and which are not, and it connects onward to a solution, a story map and the roadmap. What Shorter Loop does not do is run the research for you: there is no participant recruitment, no survey builder and no session recording.

Portrait of Kinshuk Kale, Founder of Product & Strategy

Kinshuk Kale

Founder, Product & Strategy

Engineer, architect, coach, and product leader. Started Shorter Loop after seeing the same failure repeat from different seats: decisions outliving the evidence they were built on.

Portrait of Dinesh Rawat, Co-founder of Engineering

Dinesh Rawat

Co-founder, Engineering and Technology

Dinesh started building software at the age of 13 and hasn't stopped since. He joined Kinshuk as a co-founder because he genuinely loves building technology that helps people do things they couldn't do before. That belief has kept him working on Shorter Loop through several generations of the product, and AI has opened up an entirely new set of possibilities. He knows virtually every part of the system, from its application architecture to the infrastructure underneath it, and has led the technical evolution of the product as it grew from its original form into what it is today.

Portrait of Devendra Nadh, Head of GTM

Devendra Nadh

Head of GTM

Devendra leads customer discovery, sales, partnerships, marketing, and account management at Shorter Loop. He starts with the customer’s problem, not a script. If the pitch doesn’t fit what the buyer is actually trying to do, he throws out the pitch. He treats sales as a process of listening, learning, and building relationships around problems worth solving .He has little interest in theater. The goal is not to sound impressive. The goal is to make sure the customer can do something they couldn’t do before — and that Shorter Loop can stand behind the claim.

Portrait of Deepika Patial, Founding Engineer

Deepika Patial

Founding Engineer

Deepika is a full-stack engineer who works across Shorter Loop, taking product ideas from early discussions through implementation and into production. Deepika is a full-stack engineer who cares a lot about making software simpler. She has little patience for unnecessary complexity, including when Kinshuk or Dinesh are the ones proposing it. She believes good software should be simple, focused, and do what it promises without making the user work for it. Her love of art shows up in the care she brings to the details, but she will choose usefulness over decoration every time.

Portrait of Anushka Litoria, Founding Marketing Manager

Anushka Litoria

Founding Marketing Manager

Anushka is the guardian of Shorter Loop’s messaging, positioning, and voice. She believes companies should write for people, not search engines or AI bots, and that useful communication requires having an opinion rather than repeating what everyone else already says. Everything we publish on this website goes through her, including fact-checking the claims we make. She pushes us to say what we actually mean, and to make sure we can stand behind it.

Portrait of Krishna Vamshi, Business Development Representative

Krishna Vamshi

Business Development Representative

Krishna is Shorter Loop’s newest teammate and our Business Development Representative. He researches prospects, markets, and product organizations to understand who might genuinely have a problem Shorter Loop can help solve. He joined because he would rather understand a prospect before contacting them than work from a cold script. For Krishna, good outbound starts with doing the homework.
