Backlog Prioritization
Drag epics and features onto a value-versus-effort chart, where the drop point sets both numbers and the score is value divided by effort. Move the cut lines to separate what the team takes on now from what waits.
Prioritization Matrix Software for Teams helps product organizations compare epics and features on a value-versus-effort chart, scored as value divided by effort, with movable cut lines and a RICE Score on solutions in Strategy Builder to settle which solution to pursue. Shorter Loop connects prioritization with customer feedback, opportunities, strategy, roadmaps, and delivery, helping product teams reduce opinion-driven trade-offs and keep important product context connected from discovery through outcomes.

Connect prioritization with discovery, strategy, roadmaps, backlogs, portfolios, and evidence-based product decisions.
Drag epics and features onto a value-versus-effort chart, where the drop point sets both numbers and the score is value divided by effort. Move the cut lines to separate what the team takes on now from what waits.
Connect customer evidence, objectives, assumptions, solutions, experiments, and product work so teams can evaluate opportunities before committing resources.
Build visual, objective-driven roadmaps with strategic objectives, customizable swimlanes, filters, and connections from discovery insights to delivery work.
Create epics, features and user stories, drag rows to set their order, and sync them two-way with Jira, GitHub or Azure DevOps. Epics and features can then go onto the value-versus-effort chart and the roadmap.
One roadmap for the whole company, showing every product at once grouped by themes and objectives, with the all-products view read-only and editing done one product at a time. It is included with all features in the single plan.
Open the Evidence tab on an opportunity, solution or epic to see its overall verdict, its claims, and the feedback, documents, analytics and related work behind them.
Shorter Loop's Backlog Prioritization view gives teams a shared chart for comparing epics and features by value and effort, scored as value divided by effort. Move the cut lines to reflect what counts as do-now work in your organization, and connect priorities to customer evidence, opportunities, objectives, roadmaps, and delivery work. When the question is which solution to pursue in the first place, the RICE Score on solutions in Strategy Builder is the number to read. The result is a clearer basis for trade-offs and stronger alignment across product stakeholders.

Shorter Loop connects the reasoning behind product decisions from evidence through delivery and outcomes.
Keep customer evidence, assumptions, decisions, strategy, and delivery work connected in one traceable system.

Founder, Product & Strategy
Engineer, architect, coach, and product leader. Started Shorter Loop after seeing the same failure repeat from different seats: decisions outliving the evidence they were built on.

Co-founder, Engineering and Technology
Dinesh started building software at the age of 13 and hasn't stopped since. He joined Kinshuk as a co-founder because he genuinely loves building technology that helps people do things they couldn't do before. That belief has kept him working on Shorter Loop through several generations of the product, and AI has opened up an entirely new set of possibilities. He knows virtually every part of the system, from its application architecture to the infrastructure underneath it, and has led the technical evolution of the product as it grew from its original form into what it is today.

Head of GTM
Devendra leads customer discovery, sales, partnerships, marketing, and account management at Shorter Loop. He starts with the customer’s problem, not a script. If the pitch doesn’t fit what the buyer is actually trying to do, he throws out the pitch. He treats sales as a process of listening, learning, and building relationships around problems worth solving .He has little interest in theater. The goal is not to sound impressive. The goal is to make sure the customer can do something they couldn’t do before — and that Shorter Loop can stand behind the claim.

Founding Engineer
Deepika is a full-stack engineer who works across Shorter Loop, taking product ideas from early discussions through implementation and into production. Deepika is a full-stack engineer who cares a lot about making software simpler. She has little patience for unnecessary complexity, including when Kinshuk or Dinesh are the ones proposing it. She believes good software should be simple, focused, and do what it promises without making the user work for it. Her love of art shows up in the care she brings to the details, but she will choose usefulness over decoration every time.

Founding Marketing Manager
Anushka is the guardian of Shorter Loop’s messaging, positioning, and voice. She believes companies should write for people, not search engines or AI bots, and that useful communication requires having an opinion rather than repeating what everyone else already says. Everything we publish on this website goes through her, including fact-checking the claims we make. She pushes us to say what we actually mean, and to make sure we can stand behind it.

Business Development Representative
Krishna is Shorter Loop’s newest teammate and our Business Development Representative. He researches prospects, markets, and product organizations to understand who might genuinely have a problem Shorter Loop can help solve. He joined because he would rather understand a prospect before contacting them than work from a cold script. For Krishna, good outbound starts with doing the homework.
Prioritization matrix software helps product teams compare work on two structured criteria, most often value and effort. In Shorter Loop that is the Backlog Prioritization view: a value-versus-effort chart of epics and features with movable cut lines, so teams can see which work gives the most value for the least effort. RICE Score is a separate number that sits on solutions in Strategy Builder. Both connect to the opportunities, objectives and roadmap the work belongs to.
